Day 5 - A Few Dollars But Progress Is Slow

I'm actually writing this entry early on Saturday afternoon, but to keep things in order, I'm only going to cover Friday. I'll do Saturday's entry tonight, where I have some good news to report.

Today I started distributing those 10 spun articles. I submitted one to Articlesbase, one to GoArticles and one to the main site I'm promoting in this particular niche. I rewrote a few parts of the one I submitted to the site, just to make sure it had plenty of weight in the eyes of the search engine. I really like Go Articles and Articlesbase because articles go up pretty much straight away and they both perform well in the search engines. With 7 left of the spun set, I'll probably submit 2 to article directories and 5 to web 2.0 properties.

I still can't believe from one article I got 10 - all very unique. What's also great is that I have a LOT of content written from the last few months in various niches that I can do the same with. In terms of writing completely new articles during this challenge, I doubt I'll write more than 10 or so.

The other thing to report is that we sold 3 more of our PLR Article Pack, and this brings the total sales to 10. Before it went live, I actually said to myself that I'd be very happy if we only sold 10. PLR packs aren't like the many 'magic bullet' WSO's in that they'll probably sell a lot when they first go up - it's more a case of they'll sell pretty steadily over time, and I'm completely happy with that. To bump a WSO thread, you have to pay $20, I said before it went live that I wouldn't bump it so I intend to stick to that. 10 sales also means the price now rises to $10 per pack for the next 20 sold. So far myself and my partner have made around $30 each from the pack, after Paypal fees and such. A great start.

Overall, yet again my productivity was probably 30% of what it should have been. No excuses though - I know I need to step things up if I want to reach my target. Still, I've made money in each of the 5 days so far - it's just a case of making more of it each day.
